Although Eidos-Montreal wasn't the first studio to tackle Deus Ex, its bold reinvention of the franchise had a lot to say on the issues of transhumanism and delivered a clever take on its own cyberpunk world. Whatever it is working on, Eidos-Montreal confirmed its announcement will be part of the much bigger Square Enix showcase that is taking place at E3 on June 13. It's usually living in the "shadow" of Crystal Dynamics, but with the studio taking over bigger development duties on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it proved it can handle a Tomb Raider game with ease. Ultimately, Eidos-Montreal could be working on anything right now. Elsewhere, the developer sits under Square Enix Europe (formerly Eidos Interactive), which is responsible for publishing everything from Batman: Arkham Asylum to Outriders. While Tomb Raider would be an easy sell, it's important to remember the developer is also known for its work on the Deus Ex games and assisting on Crystal Dynamics' maligned Marvel's Avengers.
